Collage Competition Fall 2024
Entry Details
Collage submission and payment deadline is 10 AM CST, Saturday, August 24, 2024.
*No late entries will be accepted.*
This is a **PRINT ONLY** competition. Digital submissions are not accepted.
The entry fee is $10 per image.
Entry fees may be paid online with a credit card using the form below, or cash/check will be accepted in person at the event.
All completed entries should be delivered to the registration table at the Fall Convention any time before the deadline noted above.
All entries must have the maker's name and category on the back of the entry. Please indicate the top of your entry with an arrow pointing to the top on the back of your entry if needed.
Prints are not required to be mounted or matted but the maker may submit mounted images if desired.
If you cannot attend in person and wish to participate in the collage print competition, you may pay online and mail your prints to the address below. Prints must be received by August 20th to be included. Please be sure to package your prints properly. TNPPA is not responsible for lost or damaged prints. No refunds will be issued.

OPEN - Image specifications
- Image submission must be 11x14 print and composed of at least two images.
- Each image must have a key-line stroke.
- Images should be displayed on a color background (this should be done digitally, not matted). You may use a texture in your background (not included in the image count).
- The collage should be from a single session /subject.
- The maker’s name should not be present anywhere on the face of the image.
- More than one collage with the same subject may not be entered.
- You may enter the same category multiple times.
- Images may be any dimension or orientation. (example, 1 image a 5x7, 4 more 2x2) This includes overlapping. Remember, presentation is one of the judging elements, spacing matters.
- The images submitted in a collage are permitted to be entered in a future TNPPA image competition as an individual submission.
- Collage is a great way to test judging a set of images.

CREATIVE Image Specifications
- Image submission must be 11x14 print and be composed with a minimum of two images creating a "montage" or blending effect.
- The maker’s name should not be present anywhere on the image.
- More than one collage with the same subject may not be entered.
- You may enter the same category multiple times if you wish.
- The creative open entry may not be the same as an entry from a previous competition.
Submission Categories (Creative):
OPEN
Best of Show will be presented to the highest-scoring/best image overall.
Collages scoring an 80 or above will earn one "B" state merit.
Collages scoring 76-79 will earn one-half "B" state merit.
One First-place ribbon will be given out in every category for the top-scoring collage. Collages must score 80 or above to qualify for a first-place ribbon.
Distinguished ribbons will be given to 2nd and 3rd place for scores above 78.
Judging is a closed session.
Ribbons are distributed at the awards ceremony.
